Wedding Event Planning Tips- Q & A
Hello everyone... Happy 2017!!!This year I am going to start doing Live Videos on wedding & event planning. I will be giving tips, suggestions, answering your questions live , commentary or take you with me to a wedding or event to show all of you just what we do here at CC's...I started Monday night with a live video speaking to the newly engaged couple looking for some advice. So Imparted some suggestions and advice Monday to get things moving in the right direction for those watching. The minute you get engaged, everyone is asking the wedding date, where is your dream location but when in reality you won't be able to set the date until some major decisions have taken place. So I spoke about sitting down and discussing what season you want to get married. Taking into consideration the time of year , where did you get engaged? do you want to marry in that location? will it be suitable for a summer or fall wedding? Also consider what style, design or trend you love and what to have or incorporate into your day and is that suitable for the season and time of year? Once you figure out the logistics of the location and time of year the date can be chosen.
The next thing I spoke on was a budget... My Suggestion was to sit down with all decision makers, family members who are willing to financially assist you and figure out who is contributing and what the definite dollar amount is. This number will affect every decision and purchase you make, so be sure to work out a budget before you start planning. So when you start the venue hunting you understand what that number is for your dream location..... Now on a side note the venue hunting coinsides with how many guests will be coming to the wedding- So create a guest list and know your minimum guest count when you do go out venue hunting.. My most biggest suggestion to all my couples and clients is, " You should book the minimum amout of guests coming, because most venues will allow you to add on but never take away guests..."For more information on how CC's should be your first stop in the wedding/event planning process...
